We are currently looking for a Accountant to join our Finance team in Zagreb, Croatia.
By joining this role, you will stay up-to-date and compliant with accounting, tax, and HQs rules, policies, and requirements of the legal entities in Croatia.
Your role will encompass:

Perform accounting activities (booking disbursements /cash receipts).

Prepare payments to suppliers, monitor the receivables/payables, and reconcile bank statements for several legal entities of the group.

Prepare payments on various e-banking platforms.

Participate in the cash flow recording activities (actual) within the group to ensure accurate, and timely set of cash flow analysis.

Prepare and update the daily/monthly/yearly cash flow report.

Collaborate with financial controlling teams to ensure the on time recording of the cash in & out activities.

Prepare accounting analyses and reports when needed (cash flow reporting).

Assist the Country Finance Manager and the Controllers with preparing and monitoring budgets.

Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

Assist the Finance Manager with annual audit activities.

Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
What you bring to the role:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within an international experience.

Strong accounting and tax skills (VAT, withholding tax, CIT, etc.).

Strong organizational and stress management skills (respect to deadlines in terms of tax compliance and calendar of reporting, IAS/IFRS compliant).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

SAP knowledge is required.
