We are currently looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our team in Volos.

 

The Technical Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of all building and technical facilities at the manufacturing plant by implementing and overseeing maintenance programs and infrastructure improvement projects.

The role focuses on supervising internal teams and external contractors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and maintaining the plant's operational readiness at all times.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic maintenance and infrastructure upgrade plan to ensure the long-term sustainability and reliability of the facilities.
  • Define maintenance priorities, project timelines, and KPIs to support safe and uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Oversee facility development and upgrade projects, managing contractors and suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all plant facilities, supported by continuous monitoring and technical reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the COO, Head of BP, and Finance teams to coordinate technical and operational activities.
  • Deliver maintenance programs and projects on time, within budget, and in line with agreed objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce unplanned maintenance interventions and plant downtime.
  • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring cost efficiency, quality of work, and full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate technical reports and performance updates for senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in maintenance management within industrial or technical facilities.
  • Proven experience in planning and managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise contractors and multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a business-oriented mindset and strong focus on operational efficiency.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
