We are currently looking for a Planning Manager to join our Defense Hub at M Technologies in Volos.
The Planning Manager is responsible for the integrated planning, scheduling, and monitoring of complex industrial and defense programs, ensuring alignment across Production, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics.
The role focuses on developing and managing comprehensive production and program schedules, monitoring progress and performance, identifying risks and deviations, and ensuring that program activities remain aligned with contractual commitments, quality requirements, and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage integrated production plans and schedules, including Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Monitor program progress, key milestones, schedule deviations, and production performance, ensuring timely identification of potential delays.

Manage production capacity, workforce requirements, and material availability in close collaboration with the relevant functions.

Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to monitor material availability and critical deliveries.

Identify schedule and execution risks and develop corrective actions and recovery plans.

Assess the impact of technical and contractual changes on production plans and program schedules.

Monitor planning and program KPIs, prepare management reports, and present progress updates to senior management and customers.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment of all activities with program objectives and agreed timelines.

Support the planning and launch of new programs and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

7–10 years of experience in Production Planning, Project Planning, Program Controls, or a related planning role, ideally within defense or complex industrial programs.

Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawings.

Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D design software.

Very good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.

Experience with MS Project.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage schedules, analyze data, and monitor KPIs.

Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills, with a strong ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

Very good command of the English language.
