We are currently looking for an Quality Engineer to join our Construction team in a Substation project in Ozurgeti, Georgia.
Your role will encompass:
- Ensure compliance with HSE and Project Quality Management standards.
- Report to the Site Quality Manager and liaise closely with the construction team.
- Execute and improve the Project Quality Plan through ITPs, method statements, and procedures.
- Issue and track Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and verify inspections align with ITPs.
- Perform and verify inspections on electrical installations including transformers, switchgear, panels, and cabling.
- Oversee loop checks, insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and equipment calibrations.
- Manage instrumentation installation, fiber optics, leak testing, and tubing inspections.
- Support the completion process: punch items, walk-downs, and turnover documentation.
What you Bring to the Role:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in power plant, substation, or similar projects.
- Familiarity with BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA codes and standards.
- Strong skills in MS Office and fluent English (written & spoken).
- Previous experience in walk-downs, punch lists, and turnover package preparation.
