ELEMKA, as a subsidiary of ΜΕΤΚΑ, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, certified buildings, as well complex technical construction projects.

We are currently looking for a Site Manager for a building project to join our team based in Thessaloniki.

Your role will encompass:

• Manage and Coordinate all site construction works according to the Contract
• Monitor budget expenses of the construction site
• Ensure safety of site personnel and machinery for the whole construction period. Ensure compliance with all HSE procedures, applicable by law policies and company policies
• Ensure implementation of the project according to applied specs & standards
• Review and monitor construction progress according to the time schedule
• Report to the project management team
• Maintain familiarity and good knowledge of contracts and documents ensuring that all site works are implemented in accordance with Company’s standards and contractual requirements
• Develop effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members
• Cross functional co-ordination with all disciplines and supportive teams/functions  incl. engineering, project management, logistics, quality, HSE  as per project’s needs
• Defining and updating the detailed construction plan and schedule, establishing priorities where necessary (in cooperation with the planning engineers)
• Identifying problem areas and proposing corrective actions.  Communicates concerns back to project management for required resolution and future issue prevention.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

What you bring to the role:

• University degree in Civil Engineering
• High level technical background in construction
• Proven track record in managing construction sites with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Languages: English & Greek essential
• Organizational skills / Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience with environmental projects will be considered as a plus
