We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our team, part of our M-Rewables Division based in Thessalia.
Your role will encompass:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is built according to design, technical standards, and within contractual and regulatory requirements
- Managing the construction schedule, identifying critical path items, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, logistics, and subcontractors to meet key milestones
- Supervising all site activities, including civil works, structural installations, mechanical assembly (module mounting), and electrical works (DC/AC cabling, inverters, transformers)
- Ensuring strict compliance with HSE policies and supporting a culture of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitoring subcontractor performance, reviewing QA/QC documentation, and conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Acting as the on-site representative for METKA-EGN, managing relationships with suppliers, local authorities, and external partners
- Reporting regularly on progress, quality, and safety, and collaborating with the Project Manager to control costs and resolve technical or operational challenges
- Supporting contract administration, including the verification of progress claims and change orders from subcontractors
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or other related field
- 4+ years’ experience in the construction of large scale solar parks (minimum 5MW)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
- Excellent communication, organization, administration, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage a large team
- Ability to operate in a highly technical or particularly complex field
