We are currently looking for a Site Administrator to join our Grid & Digital Solutions department of Metlen Energy & Metals, based in Murton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the site management team, ensuring smooth and efficient site operations in compliance with UK health, safety, and legal standards.
Your role will encompass:
· Serve as the first point of contact for all administrative matters on site.
· Maintain accurate records including timesheets, delivery notes, permits, site diaries and day-to-day admin duties.
· Assists with Coordinating site inductions, training records, and health and safety documentation with the H&S department.
· Manage and file site paperwork and correspondence, both electronic and hard copies.
· Assist with site procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
· Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with scheduling and meeting arrangements.
· Handle office supplies, stationery, and ensure the site office is well maintained.
· Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and site updates as needed..
· Liaise with the Project administrator, clients, and contractors regarding project administration.
What you bring to the role:
· Previous experience in a construction or site-based administrative role (preferred).
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Understanding of construction terminology and documentation is advantageous.
· Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
· CSCS card.
· Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations is beneficial.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
