We are currently looking for a Technical Studies Engineer to join our team, part of our M Circular Metals Division based in Sindos-Thessaloniki, Greece.
By joining this role, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and management of technical studies and engineering documentation for investment projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and project objectives.
Your role will encompass:
- Preparing and coordinating multidisciplinary technical studies and engineering documentation.
- Gathering and analyzing technical data, identifying risks, and developing alternative technical solutions.
- Coordinating and reviewing studies delivered by external engineering consultants and partners.
- Supporting project budgeting, procurement activities, and project scheduling.
- Preparing, reviewing, and managing technical specifications, drawings, standards, and project documentation.
- Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, engineering partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Managing technical issues, deviations, and required corrective actions throughout project execution.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of management systems, internal audits, and quality processes.
- Monitoring project costs, technical performance, quality, and compliance with approved studies and specifications.
- Supporting the evaluation of suppliers, materials, equipment, and technical services.
- Participating in the performance evaluation and optimization of newly commissioned installations.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering studies, technical project coordination, or investment projects, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering studies and technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of engineering standards, regulations, and project management principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/design software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Availability for travel, when required.
Nice to have:
- Experience in industrial or CAPEX projects.
- Knowledge of ISO management systems and quality processes.
- Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, ERP, or project/document management systems.
- Postgraduate studies or certification in Project Management or Engineering Management.
