We are currently looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our M Circular Metals Division in Thessaloniki, Greece.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in our company’s effort to develop and implement innovative chemical engineering solutions that support sustainable metallurgy and circular economy practices.
Your role will encompass:
• Designing and optimizing chemical processes for metallurgical operations.
• Leading technical studies and preparing engineering documentation for process improvements.
• Supporting the implementation of new technologies and pilot projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HSE, etc.) to ensure safe and efficient process execution.
• Participating in risk assessments and technical evaluations for on-site installations and commissioning phases.
• Leading Project Management & Technical Coordination. Development and monitoring of schedules for the implementation of studies and projects, in collaboration with technical teams and the project manager.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, preferably in metallurgy or industrial operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and engineering simulation tools.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is necessary, knowledge of a second foreign language is desirable.
• Availability for travel within and outside Europe.
