We are currently looking for an Electrical & Electronic Engineer to join our team, part of our M Circular Metals Division based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in designing, implementing, and supporting electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems for industrial production lines, ensuring compliance with technical standards and operational reliability.
Your role will encompass:
- Designing electrical power distribution, instrumentation, automation, and control systems for industrial production lines.
- Preparing technical documentation, specifications, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and control architectures.
- Selecting electrical and electronic equipment, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Coordinating project timelines and activities related to electrical engineering implementation, commissioning, testing, and quality assurance.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners (engineering, operations, HSE, automation vendors, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities).
- Supporting installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and automation systems during project execution.
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks related to electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and process control systems.
- Continuously improving system performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation, or process control systems (experience in the chemical, metallurgical, mining, or heavy industrial sector will be considered an asset).
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent electrical design software.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, industrial networks, and power distribution systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, industrial regulations, and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered an advantage.
- Availability for travel within and outside Europe.
Nice to have:
- Experience with commissioning and start-up of industrial plants.
- Knowledge of IEC standards, ATEX requirements, functional safety, and industrial cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with renewable energy integration, energy management systems, or advanced process automation.
