Country Manager – Renewable Energy
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to oversee our operations and strategic initiatives. This senior role will have responsibility for managing and guiding key functions across our renewable energy projects and operations, with a strong focus on the execution and expansion of our renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Metlen Energy’s business operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Manage and provide direction to the heads of Development, EPC, and Grid Connection, ensuring the successful delivery of key projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.
• Drive the growth of Metlen’s renewable energy projects, exploring new opportunities and markets while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior leaders in the Development, EPC, and Grid Connection teams to drive high performance and innovation.
• Oversee the country’s financial performance, including revenue and cost control, ensuring that financial goals are met and driving cost optimization.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, regulatory authorities, project partners, and local communities.
• Represent Metlen in the renewable energy industry, at industry events, and in meetings with potential investors, partners, and customers.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, focusing on expanding Metlen’s footprint.
• Guide the strategy for market expansion, evaluating market trends, and advising senior leadership on growth initiatives.
What You Bring to the Role:
• 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, ideally within the renewable energy or energy sector.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams in large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, with a focus on solar, wind, and grid integration.
• Experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and driving business growth within the renewable energy sector.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and meet financial targets.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
