We are currently looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our Transmission Lines construction team within the MRES-ET division in Nea Peramos.
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the execution and supervision of on-site activities, ensuring that construction works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required technical and quality standards. You will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, provide technical guidance on site, and support the successful delivery of the project throughout its lifecycle.
Your role will encompass:
- Lead and oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality requirements
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site personnel, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of works
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or technical issues, and support the implementation of corrective actions
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that construction activities are performed in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and project requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, resolving day-to-day engineering and construction issues
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to achieve project milestones
- Review and support the preparation of technical documentation, method statements, progress reports, schedules, and other project deliverables
- Monitor the quality of works and ensure that any non-conformities are identified, documented, and appropriately addressed
- Support the planning and coordination of site resources, materials, and equipment required for the timely execution of works
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental requirements and actively promote a strong safety culture on site
- Contribute to project reporting, progress meetings, and the continuous improvement of site execution processes
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience in site engineering, construction, or project execution, preferably within an EPC environment
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, materials, and applicable standards and regulations
- Proven ability to coordinate site activities and work effectively with subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant engineering/construction software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities
