We are currently looking for a Senior OT, Network & Security Engineer to join our team, based in Volos, Greece.
By joining this role, you'll be responsible for designing, securing, and supporting OT and industrial network infrastructures, ensuring the reliable and secure operation of manufacturing and critical operational systems.
Your role will encompass:
• Designing, implementing, and supporting OT network infrastructures and industrial communication environments.
• Managing and monitoring industrial networks using Cisco technologies, Industrial Ethernet switches, SolarWinds, Nagios, and packet analysis tools.
• Supporting IT/OT network segmentation and secure architecture initiatives.
• Implementing and maintaining OT cybersecurity controls, including SIEM and threat monitoring solutions.
• Supporting OT operations through backup, recovery, monitoring, incident management, and system maintenance activities.
• Participating in system commissioning, integration, testing, and deployment projects.
• Managing change control processes, technical documentation, and configuration traceability.
• Coordinating with vendors and third-party providers to ensure secure remote access and compliance with security requirements.
• Collaborating with engineering, production, maintenance, and IT teams to improve reliability, performance, and cybersecurity posture.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives across industrial environments.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in OT Networks, Industrial Systems, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, Industrial Ethernet, Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios.
• Experience with OT cybersecurity solutions, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and/or other SIEM platforms.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Commvault or Veeam.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi or similar) and network testing tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Confluence, Git, and related collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of firewalls, NAC solutions, PAM platforms, VPNs, and secure remote access technologies.
• Exposure to SCADA and industrial automation platforms (WinCC, Wonderware/AVEVA, SINUMERIK, or similar) will be considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
