We are currently looking for a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our Design team in our offices in Athens.
You role you will encopass:
- Reviewing Customer requirements for HVAC / MEP Conceptual/Basic Design and Detail Design for Power Plants, Industrial Facilities and Datacenter facilities
- Preparing and/or reviewing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, System & Functional Descriptions, Control Diagrams, General Arrangement drawings
- Preparing and/or reviewing technical specifications and associated datasheets for HVAC / MEP Equipment
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure correct system integration and Electrical department to ensure correct Electrical feeds sizing and integration of equipment in MCC panels
- Participate in design review meetings
- Provide HVAC / MEP installation input and support to procurement team. Provide review of suppliers’ proposals for equipment
- Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities for equipment
- Provide input and support to construction team and subcontractors
- Flexibility to support site activities, including temporary relocation to the commissioning team
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant position
- Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of other languages shall be considered an additional asset
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
- Familiarity with BMS & Control systems
- Familiarity with hazardous area classifications
- Critical thinking & troubleshooting capability
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- People management skills & leadership skills. Ability to lead groups of junior Engineers.
