We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer & Analyst to join our team, based in Volos, Greece.
By joining this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining industrial data platforms and analytics solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across manufacturing and operational environments.
Your role will encompass:
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes from industrial systems (CNC, PLC, SCADA, Historians).
• Designing and implementing scalable data platforms using Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Managing data ingestion, integration, monitoring, and reliability using tools such as Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Developing data models and performing data transformation using SQL, Python (Pandas, PySpark), and related technologies.
• Creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, and advanced Excel analytics.
• Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Supporting data governance, documentation, and continuous improvement activities across the organization.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Platform Architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and industrial data environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data technologies, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, including experience with Pandas and PySpark.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and/or Grafana.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
