Quantity Surveyor

Job Description: 

We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Power Technologies team for the construction of the Adamow Power Plant in Metlen.

Your role will encompass:

  • Progress Monitoring:
    • Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress of quantitative activities.
    • Collect and analyse progress data related to subcontractor quantitative work aspects.
  • Technical Coordination:
    • Collaborate with technical teams to understand requirements and specifications of quantitative works .
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare progress reports highlighting achievements, delays, and forecasts related to quantitative works.
    • Maintain accurate records of daily reports, material deliveries, and manpower statistics.
    • Support in updating the project schedule using excel.

What you bring to the role:

  • 0 – 2 years of work experience.
  • Degree in Engineer, Finance, Math, Physics or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience in verifying quantities, preparing cost reports, and handling variations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Previous experience in cost control software and MS Excel.
