We are currently looking for a Project Finance Officer to join our Treasury Global Project Finance team in London, United Kingdom.
By joining this role, you will support the financing and management of large-scale solar, and battery storage projects across Europe. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced project finance professionals, gaining exposure to project development, financial analysis, lender relationships, and transaction execution, while building a long-term career in finance and renewable energy.
Your role will encompass:
- Support the assessment, analysis, and execution of utility-scale solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid project financings across Europe.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reporting packages to lenders and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain project financing records, trackers, and databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor information requests and coordinate with internal teams to support project financing activities.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and investment materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to project performance and financing activities.
- Conduct research on renewable energy markets, financing trends, and regulatory developments.
- Support senior team members throughout financing transactions and due diligence processes.
- Assist with the review, organization, and management of project documentation.
- Develop financial modelling and analytical capabilities through on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Take ownership of assigned analytical tasks and contribute to project finance activities across the project lifecycle.
What you bring to the role:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Up to 2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, consulting, banking, engineering, energy, or other analytical fields.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in project finance, financial modelling, or renewable energy markets will be considered an asset.
- CFA, ACA, or other accounting/finance qualifications will be considered advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
