We are currently looking for a Procurement Engineer (Electrical Equipment) to join our Procurement team as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC Division in our offices in Paiania.
Your role will encompass:
- The implementation of procurement strategies for packages/components intended for large scale, complex energy projects in collaboration with project stakeholders
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and analyze suppliers’ offers
- Support supplier evaluation and selection processes, considering factors like cost, quality, reliability, and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while mitigating risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, project management, quality and finance
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet project needs
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1+ years’ experience within the electrical/industrial sector (procurement, contracts/tender, sales, engineering roles).
- Experience in procurement practices and vendor evaluation will be an asset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English language
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
