We are currently looking for a Storage Portfolio Operations Specialist to join our Energy Management team, based in Bucharest, Romania. 

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient participation and optimization of our BESS assets across regional wholesale energy markets. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, supporting performance reporting, and contributing to forecasting and optimization initiatives. 

Your role will encompass: 

  • Managing and updating the technical database of assets within the aggregation portfolio. 

  • Executing settlement processes for aggregation and PPA portfolios in coordination with central functions. 

  • Liaising with key market authorities (ANRE, OPCOM/ Transelectrica) to ensure seamless portfolio operations. 

  • Preparing and delivering performance reports using Power BI to monitor technical and portfolio KPIs. 

  • Supporting monthly budgeting forecasts and financial planning. 

  • Enhancing internal forecasting and optimization tools to improve production accuracy and economic performance. 

  • Monitoring regulatory developments and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure business continuity. 

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or a related field. 

  • 2+ years of experience in power markets; experience in aggregation is a strong plus. 

  • Solid understanding of the regulatory framework governing regional electricity markets. 

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: VBA, Power BI, Python, or SQL. 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
