We are looking for an O&M Technician to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN. The role is focused on day-to-day technical activities to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and reliability of our solar PV plants.
Your role will encompass:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and support corrective maintenance activities on solar PV plants.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, escalating complex faults when needed.
- Monitor basic plant performance indicators and ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs and technical reports; support the update of server files and backups.
- Support spare parts handling and assist external contractors during onsite interventions.
- Use and update the CMMS and other internal tools according to company procedures.
- Work remotely as required and travel regularly to various solar plant locations.
What you bring to the role:
- 1–2 years of experience in maintenance or troubleshooting of solar PV plants or relevant electrical/industrial experience.
- Basic understanding of PV systems, including string inverters, trackers, MV/LV equipment, and monitoring systems.
- Hands-on experience in general electrical works.
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and willingness to follow company safety procedures.
- Fluent Italian and basic English.
- Valid driver’s license and availability to travel.
