We are currently looking for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our Operations team in Thessaloniki, Greece.
By joining this role, you will lead and coordinate regulatory compliance activities for electricity and natural gas supply, ensuring the effective implementation of regulatory requirements and providing critical support to business operations. You will play a key role in regulatory reporting, stakeholder alignment, and compliance assurance across the organization.
Your role will encompass:
- Ensure the effective implementation of existing and new regulatory and legal requirements in collaboration with the Legal Department.
- Coordinate and manage regulatory reporting to supervisory authorities, including RAAEY, the Ministry of Environment & Energy, and System Operators.
- Monitor developments in the regulatory framework and communicate key updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regulatory guidance on new products, ensuring compliance with applicable energy regulations and technical requirements.
- Support the preparation and review of customer contracts and other business documentation from a regulatory perspective.
- Advise on consumer protection matters and coordinate responses to complaints referred by regulatory authorities.
- Manage regulatory obligations and data submissions related to Energy Efficiency Obligation Schemes.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in regulatory compliance, energy regulation, or energy supply.
- Good understanding of energy legislation and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience in regulatory reporting and engagement with regulatory authorities will be considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Master's degree in Energy Law, Energy Economics, or a related field will be considered an asset.
