We are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our Electrical Utilities team based in our offices in Thessaloniki.
As a Design Engineer, you will support the engineering, design, coordination, and technical review of Station Utility Systems for substations, power plants, and energy infrastructure projects. The role offers exposure to the design and integration of critical utility systems, including CCTV, PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm), Access Control Systems, IT Infrastructure, LAN/WAN Networks, and industrial communication solutions.
Your role will encompass:
- Preparing technical specifications in line with project requirements and applicable standards
- Developing technical studies, engineering calculations, and design documentation
- Producing drawings, schematics, cable schedules, cable routing drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Preparing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for utility systems, equipment, and materials
- Supporting technical bid evaluations and vendor clarification processes
- Assisting in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Coordinating with engineering disciplines, procurement teams, vendors, and site personnel
- Participating in design reviews and supporting the resolution of technical comments throughout project execution
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Up to 1 year of experience in electrical engineering or design roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with video surveillance design software (e.g., JVSG or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or DIALux will be considered an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary and international project environments
