METLEN Energy & Metals, a utility-scale world class EPC, is seeking for its Italian subsidiary METKA EGN ITALY SRL METKA EGN ITALY SRL, a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to Ensure the operational continuity of projects through strategic supply management and comprehensive logistical control. The main focus is to guarantee on‑time and on-cost delivery, optimize the import of materials, preparazione del procurement plan, strategia di procurement and contrattazione dei subcontractor, controllo nel ademptimento del piano/strategia and maintain rigorous quality standards to maximize customer satisfaction
Your role will encompass:
- Defining and implementing the country-specific supply chain strategy in alignment with corporate and EPC objectives.
- Planning, coordinating, and overseeing procurement, sourcing, quality control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Managing and negotiating with local and international suppliers and subcontractors, fostering strategic, long-term partnerships.
- Monitoring, controlling, and optimizing costs related to procurement, logistics, inventory, and service contracts.
- Driving digital transformation initiatives across the supply chain, including ERP, WMS, TMS, and BI systems.
- Ensuring full compliance with national and international trade, customs, and logistics regulations.
- Tracking and analyzing key supply chain KPIs to support data-driven and strategic decision-making.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and standardization.
- Building, developing, and leading high-performing teams within the Supply Chain function.
- Providing clear, data-driven inputs to the High Management to enable strategic decisions on sourcing, scheduling, risk mitigation, and cost control.
What you bring to the role:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- Specialization or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an MBA (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, including at least 5 years in leadership positions.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Supply chain planning
- Strategic procurement and sourcing
- International logistics and Incoterms
- Financial management applied to Supply Chain
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- ISO standards
- Languages: Advanced English (mandatory); any additional language is a plus.
