Job Description: 

We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our Human Resources team based in Milan.

This internship at Metlen presents an excellent opportunity to support the Regional HR Business Partner for IT & Eastern Europe, while gaining invaluable experience in the dynamic world of HR within a rapidly growing company in the Energy sector.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Onboarding: You will contribute to enhancing local onboarding processes, coordinate welcome communications, prepare onboarding materials, and provide support with the Learning Management System (LMS). Your role will focus on ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all new hires.
  • Reporting and Data Quality: Your responsibilities will include maintaining the accuracy of SuccessFactors data, updating regional dashboards and resourcing plans, and assisting management with relevant reporting needs.
  • HR Communications (Local & Regional): You will be involved in drafting onboarding messages and staff announcements, supporting internal communication flows, and preparing PowerPoint presentations for both local and regional HR purposes.
  • Organisation and Development Support: you will be provided for organisational change activities, reviewing job descriptions, and updating the Roles & Responsibilities Matrix as required.
  • Employee Relations Cases and Documentation: Your tasks will include preparing and reviewing HR documents, and managing paperwork related to employee relations cases.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • MSc degree with a strong academic record, preferably in Management, Political Science, Humanities, Psychology, or Law
  • Specialised Master’s in Human Resource Management is an advantage
  • Strong internal customer focus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team
