We are currently looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN.
Your role will encompass:
- Pre-condition site surveys
- Initial site setup and establishment (supported by the HSE site engineers)
- Coordinate with project manager, construction manager and site engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Supervise subcontractors schedule and works
- Report to the project manager any deviations from the PoW or scope by the subcontractors
- Assist the team with project budgets for mechanical works, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Provide technical support onsite
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. MSc is considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within the renewable energy sector
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil construction drawings is essential.
- Fluency in English and Italian is essential
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
