We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in Madrid, Spain.
By joining this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Development and EPC business across Spain and Western Europe, providing practical legal guidance, managing contractual matters, and supporting project transactions throughout the project lifecycle.
Your role will encompass

Support the Senior Legal Counsel Iberia on a broad range of legal matters relating to Development and EPC activities across Spain and other Western European jurisdictions.

Provide high-quality, responsive legal advice to internal stakeholders and support the full lifecycle of EPC, O&M, supply, subcontracting and project development agreements.

Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial, corporate and project-related documentation, including acquisitions, resolutions, powers of attorney and operational agreements.

Assist project teams throughout transaction closings, due diligence exercises, milestone tracking and project development processes, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Legal Team systems, processes and know-how materials while ensuring adherence to internal procedures.

Liaise with external legal advisors, manage legal spend in accordance with internal guidelines and effectively prioritize workload to meet business deadlines.
What you bring to the role

Qualified Lawyer, preferably admitted to practice in Spain. Qualification in another jurisdiction will also be considered.

2-4 years of professional experience, ideally within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or EPC sector.

Experience supporting M&A transactions, legal due diligence, documentation review, and project development activities.

Strong knowledge of the EPC contract chain, including EPC, O&M, supply, and subcontracting agreements.

Experience in renewable energy projects; familiarity with FIDIC contracts will be considered an advantage.

Experience gained in both private practice and in-house environments will be considered an asset.

Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Valid practicing certificate.
