We are currently looking for an Energy OT Security Engineer to join our Energy Technology Division, based in Paiania, Greece. 

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and resilience of METLEN’s Energy infrastructure by translating OT cybersecurity policy and risk requirements into practical controls across assets and projects. You will own the execution of OT security requirements, risk assessments, supplier assurance and incident support across Energy assets, EPC projects and O&M environments. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Energy business units, engineering, IT, the CISO organization and external partners to align execution with business priorities and operational needs.

Your role will encompass: 

• Defining and maintaining OT cybersecurity requirements, control baselines and technical specifications for Energy assets, EPC projects and O&M activities. 

• Conducting OT/ICS risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, penetration tests and control-gap analyses, and translating findings into prioritized remediation plans. 

• Supporting incident preparedness and response for OT environments, including evidence collection, impact assessment, coordination and lessons learned. 

• Assessing OT suppliers, OEMs, integrators and project solutions against security, contractual, clients and regulatory requirements. 

• Embedding cybersecurity requirements into tender documentation, design reviews, FAT/SAT acceptance criteria, handover packages and operational procedures. 

• Supporting implementation of the OT Security Management System, policies, SOPs, roles, accountabilities and exception processes. 

• Coordinating with the CISO, IT, engineering, asset owners, EPC teams, Legal, Procurement and external specialists to ensure aligned control implementation. 

• Monitoring remediation actions, dependencies and risk acceptance decisions, providing clear management reporting and escalation where required. 

• Contributing to OT cybersecurity awareness, exercises and continuous improvement across the Energy organization. 

What you bring to the role: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or a related field. 

• 3+ years of relevant experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, preferably in energy, utilities or industrial environments. 

• Practical knowledge of industrial control systems, OT security controls, risk assessment and incident response concepts. 

• Knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements such as NIS2, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001 and NIST guidance. 

• Experience in supplier assurance, security requirements, technical documentation, audits or project acceptance activities is an advantage. 

• Relevant certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, IEC 62443 or equivalent are considered a strong plus.
