Job Description: 

 

We are currently looking for an Energy Data Analyst to join our Long Term Optimization & Aggregation team within the Integrated Energy Utility Division, based in Painia, Greece.

In this highly analytical role, you will support market intelligence, portfolio performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making across electricity and energy markets. You will develop automated reporting solutions, analytical tools, and dashboards, while transforming complex datasets and market information into actionable insights that support strategic planning and portfolio optimization.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Automate data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and support internal operations.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytical tools to enhance business visibility, monitoring capabilities, and decision making.
  • Make scenario analysis and forecasting activities related to electricity market fundamentals, portfolio performance, and strategic planning
  • Support the performance monitoring and valuation of the company’s energy portfolio by integrating technical, operational, and financial data.
  • Monitor energy markets, analyze market fundamentals and trends, and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic projects through data analysis, scenario assessments, and presentation of findings.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and management updates on market developments and portfolio performance.

 

What you bring to the role:

  • 2+ years of experience in energy markets, market analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, programming, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of electricity market operations and regulatory frameworks, including the European Target Model, will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets under tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable. Experience with Python, VBA, SQL, or GAMS will be considered a strong asset.
