We are currently seeking to hire a Treasury Expert, Project Finance based in Athens, who will play a leading role in the origination, structuring, execution, and management of Infrastructure, PPP, and Renewable Energy financing transactions across Greece.
Your role will encompass:

Lead the preparation of presentations, Information Memorandums, bank teasers and financing reports addressed to financial institutions.

Manage complex financial models to analyse debt funding and returns, sensitivity analysis.

Εvaluate financing proposals, bank offers and term sheets, optimizing capital structure and hedging strategies, including IRS arrangements.

Assess the bankability of key project agreements (EPC, O&M, PPA, concession and other project contracts) and provide quantitative and financial analysis to support investment decisions.

Lead the selection and coordination of external advisors, including legal, technical, insurance and market consultants, and oversee due diligence workstreams.

Manage financing transactions through execution, including debt documentation negotiations, conditions precedent (CPs) satisfaction, financial close and drawdown processes.

Monitor compliance with financing agreements, covenant reporting requirements, undertakings, waiver requests and lender communications.

Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on project.

What you bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration. A Master’s degree in a related field will be considered an asset

Up to 5 years’ proven structure finance experience in banking, advisory firm or a large organization with similar responsibilities

Proven experience in non-recourse financing of renewable energy projects and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

Loan structuring including Project Financing documentation, due diligence and financial close process

Investment appraisal & Credit analysis capabilities

Knowledge of legal and accounting principles of non-recourse financing

Excellent knowledge of MS Office toolset, especially Excel and PowerPoint
