We are currently looking for a Sustainable Development Officer to join our Corporate Governance & Sustainable Development Division based in Maroussi, Athens. By joining this role, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with evolving European regulatory frameworks (such as CSRD, ESRS, and CSDDD), supporting ESG project implementation, and strengthening the Company’s sustainability governance.
Your role will encompass:

Support the preparation of the Company’s annual Sustainability Statement and other ESG-related publications (e.g., Green Bond Report, TCFD Report), including data gathering, evaluation, content drafting, and technical documentation.

Actively participate in both the internal as well as the external assurance process of the Sustainability Statement as part of the Annual Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with CSRD and ESRS requirements.

Support the implementation of the annual Sustainable Development Action Plan through technical, administrative, and operational assistance, including tasks like double materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement.

Assist in the collection and evaluation of ESG data in collaboration with other departments to support analysis and disclosures.

Assist in the preparation and execution of the Division’s annual calendar of work meetings and training sessions, including invitations, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.

Stay up to date with sustainability trends and regulatory developments, mapping impacts of new legislation, and assisting in the design of new internal policies and procedures.
What you bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Sustainable Development, or a related field.

A Master’s degree (e.g., in Sustainability, Environment, Corporate Responsibility) is highly desirable.

2+ years of professional experience in sustainability, ESG, with proven experience and understanding in the field of Sustainability/ESG reporting.

Solid knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, GRI, ISSB).

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP or ESG data systems.
