Your role will encompass:

• Responsible for maintaining, and monitoring the project specific HSSE documentation for the project (HSE Forms, RAMS, HSSE Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Waste Management Plan, Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc.)
• Liaises with Managers regarding environmental and H&S issues.
• Checking and preparing H&S weekly and monthly site reports and keeping on top of paperwork
• Perform inspections on construction site at least once per week to ensure compliance.
• Collects all HSSE documentation from all Subcontractors.
• Provide and inspect PPE, waste management equipment etc.
• Leads accident and incident investigations.
• Ensure training needs are identified, delivered, and monitored.
• Promotes and maintains a zero-accident policy.
• Ensure adequate welfare facilities always exist on site. Report defects and liaise with suppliers.
• Direct the Head of Site Manager with the local H&S legislations.
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up.
• Other duties as directed by Site Manager and Country HSE manager.

What you bring to the role:

• Able to work in a cold/hot environment.
• Know to operate in Microsoft office environment is required.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction/supervision.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• 1 year proven HSE experience in related field.
• Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage.
• University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of Romanian HSE Legislation is mandatory.
• Fluent English
