We are currently looking for an HSE Competence & Training Specialist to join our HSE team in Paiania, Greece.
As an HSE Competence & Training Specialist, you will support the MRES HSE Manager in enhancing HSE performance across construction projects by establishing and standardizing the HSE competence and training framework. You will lead the development and governance of HSE training programs to ensure that employees and contractors are competent to work safely and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements, while acting as the focal point for HSE training standardization and competence development across all projects.
Your role will encompass:
- Develop and standardize HSE training materials, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to support a consistent approach across projects
- Define and govern HSE induction and onboarding processes for employees and contractors, ensuring alignment with company standards and project requirements
- Coordinate and monitor HSE training delivery, ensuring full coverage, consistency, and timely execution across all projects
- Track competence requirements, training completion rates, and identified gaps, ensuring records are maintained to demonstrate compliance and drive continuous improvement
- Support HSE Area Managers and site teams in strengthening safety culture through targeted training, learning initiatives, and competence development activities
What you bring to the role:
- Degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, Education, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in HSE training, competence development, or learning & development activities
- Ability to design, coordinate, and monitor training programs across multiple projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Fluency in Greek and English and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
