We are currently searching for a Site Manager to join our Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, based in Grudziadz, Poland.
Your role will encompass:

Acting as the primary focal point of Metlen with the end-client and consortium partner.

Leading and managing the construction of the project to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedule milestones, budget, QHSE project requirements and project KPIs.

Overseeing all construction activities, including site preparation, power plant construction, equipment installation, and infrastructure development, to the erection completion and turn-over to the Commissioning / End-Client.

Integrate commissioning activities into the overarching construction time schedule.

Providing technical guidance and support throughout the construction process, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.

Collaborating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, supervising their work, and ensuring alignment with project specifications.

Implementing quality control procedures and conducting inspections to maintain the highest construction standards.

Identifying and mitigating potential risks, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

Promoting clear communication and cooperation with engineers, designers, consultants, and local authorities.

Enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and fostering a safety-first culture on-site.

Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reporting to all project stakeholders.
What you bring to the role:

10+ years of relevant work experience in managing large-scale industrial or energy construction projects.

5+ years of work experience with people management responsibilities.

Must have experience delivering thermal power plant projects or other large-scale industrial/process facilities, such as oil refineries, LNG terminals, petrochemical plants, or high-voltage substations.

University degree in Electrical, Mechanical,.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management tools is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Polish or Greek is a plus.

Certification in Project Management will be considered an asset.
