- Support and oversee civil construction activities towards the completion of works, ensuring alignment with approved designs, specifications, and project objectives.
- Provide on-site civil engineering expertise for earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, underground utilities, buildings, and structural elements.
- Ensure all civil works are executed in accordance with technical drawings, method statements, quality plans, and applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate and supervise civil contractors and subcontractors, ensuring efficient sequencing of works, adherence to schedules, and safe execution on site.
- Review and monitor construction progress, schedules, and resource allocation, supporting the timely achievement of key civil and overall project milestones.
- Identify, assess, and resolve civil engineering and constructability issues, proposing practical technical solutions in coordination with design and project teams.
- Interface closely with mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams to ensure proper civil–interface coordination (foundations, embeds, openings, access, false ceilings, finishing worksetc.).
- Coordinate and monitor multidisciplinary construction activities through Mechanical Completion, prepare and issue Red Marked (As-Built) drawings, and support the issuance of all documentation required for project permitting and handover to local authorities.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, promoting a strong safety culture across all civil activities.
- Participate in site coordination and progress meetings and prepare reports on civil works progress, technical challenges, and risk mitigation actions.
- 5+ years of experience in civil construction engineering on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or power generation projects (CCGT experience is a strong advantage).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, including earthworks, concrete works, structural construction, and underground services.
- Experience managing site execution, contractor coordination, and technical interfaces in complex, multi-disciplinary construction environments.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling, quality control, and site supervision for large projects.
- Proven experience working under HSE standards, with hands-on involvement in enforcing safe working practices on site.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
