The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the construction of CCGT and OCGT power plant projects as part of the Power Technologies department of the M Power Projects Division which is set to be completed by the end of 2026.
Your role will encompass:
- Participation in meetings with clients and subcontractors to align project objectives and expectations.
- Developing and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
- Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Regularly report status of projects, milestones, and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors, establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrable experience in managing more than one energy related projects in parallel.
- MSc or MBA will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in English, plus a European language is a bonus.
- Capability to work independently, managing team dynamics and budgets proficiently.
- Previous experience in project management with Power Plants.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve outstanding results.
