Job Description: 

 

METLEN Energy & Metals is launching and expanding its M Renewables Division in Germany, and we are seeking a Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of our utility-scale renewable energy projects across the country.

This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for coordinating daily construction activities and ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. The Construction Supervisor will act as the primary on-site interface with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and internal teams, playing a vital role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.


Your Role Will Encompass:

  • Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.

  • Act as the primary site-based point of contact for the Project Manager on daily operational matters.

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project schedules and work plans.

  • Organise daily activities, short-term lookahead planning, and work sequencing to optimise productivity.

  • Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, RAMS, and quality requirements.

  • Promote and enforce high HSE standards, supporting toolbox talks and safe systems of work.

  • Monitor progress, manpower, and productivity, proactively identifying risks or delays.

  • Coordinate technical interfaces and escalate design or site issues as required.

  • Support pre-commissioning, inspections, handover activities, and as-built documentation.

  • Provide clear, accurate site reporting on progress, risks, and resource needs.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.

  • 5+ years’ experience in large-scale construction projects, ideally within renewables or energy infrastructure.

  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.

  • Strong understanding of construction standards, QA/QC processes, and HSE requirements in Germany.

  • Experience with planning, reporting, and site coordination is highly desirable.

  • Germany driving licence required.

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong on-site presence.

  • Willingness to travel to and work across project sites in Germany.
