Your role will encompass:

Cost Control and Analysis
-
Monitoring and analyzing project costs, including construction materials, subcontractors, labor, equipment, logistics, and overhead.

Supporting month-end closing with a focus on project cost allocation and accruals.

Conducting variance analysis (comparing budget, actual, and forecast figures) to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Implementing cost control measures and supporting cost optimization initiatives across the project.

Financial Planning and Budgeting

Supporting the preparation of project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Tracking project performance against the established budget and providing regular variance reporting.

Working closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to align financial tracking with physical project progress and milestones.

Project & Performance Analysis

Monitoring project key performance indicators (KPIs), such as cost performance, productivity, and progress versus spend.

Analyzing construction activities and resource utilization to identify and recommend efficiency improvements.

Supporting claims, change orders, and the forecasting of final project results, including the Estimate at Completion (EAC).

Financial Reporting and Compliance

Preparing timely and accurate project financial reports and management dashboards.

Ensuring full compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and project reporting requirements.

Supporting the preparation of statutory reports.

Supporting audits by gathering and providing necessary documentation related to project finances and contractual execution.

What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling within construction, EPC,or industrial projects (CCGT or energy projects experience is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting in aconstruction environment.
• Familiarity with project-based ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and cost tracking tools.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work closely with project/site teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent knowledge of English (Level C1 or higher ) and Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both finance and engineering/construction stakeholders.
