We are currently looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to join our Development team in MRES-ET business unit.
Your role will encompass:
- Supervise electrical subcontractors during installation of LV/MV cables, panels, switchgear, transformers, and inverter systems
- Verify cable routing, terminations, earthing, bonding, and segregation in compliance with technical standards
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, SLDs, and installation details
- Support testing, inspections, insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and commissioning preparation.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil and mechanical teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Monitor subcontractor productivity, daily progress, risks, delays, and mitigation actions
- Maintain quality records, testing documentation, and corrective action tracking
- Support energisation, pre-commissioning, and final handover activities
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe systems of work
- Support process standardisation, transaction efficiency improvements, and compliance with company governance and risk management policies
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience supervising and coordinating electrical installation works within construction and renewable energy projects
- Experience in subcontractor management, commissioning support, and site execution
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, including cabling, terminations, switchgear, transformers, inverters, and earthing systems
- Familiarity with electrical installation, commissioning, QA/QC processes, and testing procedures
- Understanding of IET Wiring Regulations, G99/G100 standards, and industry compliance requirements
- Ability to interpret cable schedules, technical drawings, and electrical documentation
- Experience coordinating electrical activities with civil and mechanical teams in fast-paced site environments
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills under site pressure
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and strong commitment to quality, safety, RAMS, and project delivery
