We are currently searching for a Senior TOP Coordinator to join our Thermal Power & HVDC department as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen Energy & Metals, for the OCGT Drax projects in the UK.
Your role will encompass:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Turnover & Handover Strategy.
- Establish and manage the Turnover Package (TOP) structure aligned with systemization for OCGT plant systems.
- Coordinate closely with Construction, QA/QC, Engineering, and Commissioning teams to ensure timely mechanical completion.
- Monitor TOP readiness, track punch lists, and drive closure of outstanding items.
- Ensure all inspection and test records (ITRs), redlines, as-builts, and quality dossiers are complete and compliant.
- Maintain and update the TOP database and reporting tools.
- Prepare handover certificates (MC, RFSU, RFO, PAC, as applicable).
- Interface with the Client and third parties regarding turnover status and documentation requirements.
- Identify risks or delays impacting system handover and escalate accordingly.
- Support audits and internal quality reviews related to turnover documentation.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement of turnover processes.
What you bring to the role:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in EPC industrial or thermal power generation projects (OCGT/CCGT preferred).
- Proven experience in Turnover, Systemization, Mechanical Completion, or Commissioning coordination.
- Strong knowledge of EPC documentation flow and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with turnover/database tools (e.g., WinPCS, MCPlus, Omega, or similar systems).
- Solid understanding of QA/QC processes and construction workflows in power projects.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment.
