We are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our Electrical Utilities team based in our offices in Thessaloniki.
As a Design Engineer, you will support the engineering, design, coordination, and technical review of 3D models for steel support structures and cable trays systems for substations, power plants and energy projects. The role includes developing detailed design solutions, producing construction drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure efficient and compliant project execution.
Your role will encompass:

Preparation of technical specifications in line with projects technical requirements

Development of technical studies and design documentation

Design and model steel support structures for electrical equipment, cable tray systems, and auxiliary installations.

Design routing layouts for cable trays, conduits in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for equipment and systems

Support bid evaluations and vendor clarifications

Assist in BOQ preparation
- Coordinate with internal teams
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design & Production Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design or engineering roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, AutoCAD MEP and Inventor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a quality-oriented mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple engineering activities and deliver high-quality design documentation within project deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international project environments
