Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Demand Response Specialist to join our Fully Integrated Energy Utility Division at our Paiania offices.

By joining this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and performance management of Demand Response services and solutions. You will assess customer flexibility and market opportunities, shape bidding strategies, oversee operational performance, and coordinate with key internal stakeholders to deliver measurable commercial value.

Your role will encompass:

Leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Demand Response services, commercial solutions, and bidding strategies.
Assessing historical and real-time consumption data, customer flexibility, technical constraints, market trends, and participation opportunities.
Developing and optimizing bidding strategies for the Day-Ahead and Balancing Markets.
Monitoring Demand Response activations, delivered energy, operational KPIs, and financial results, while driving corrective actions and performance improvements.
Defining requirements for automated systems, algorithms, and controls that support optimal bidding, activation, and instruction allocation.
Working closely with Operations, Sales, Trading, Billing, Accounting, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery.

What you will bring to the role:

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Economics, Data Science, or another relevant discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Demand Response, energy management, electricity markets, energy trading, or flexibility services.
Strong knowledge of Demand Response principles, flexibility products, electricity market operations, and the applicable regulatory framework.
A solid understanding of Day-Ahead and Balancing Market processes, supported by advanced analytical, modelling, and data interpretation skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and market insights into clear commercial recommendations and quantify the value of Demand Response solutions.
