We are currently looking for a Control Room Operator to join our Operations and Maintenance team as part of our MRES-ET Division in our Thessaloniki Offices.
This role requires a lot of flexibility as it involves working five 8-hour shifts every week. Shifts are defined on a rotational basis. Shifts are on a 24h basis plus weekends and bank holidays.
Your role will encompass:
- Utilize monitoring software to assess real-time solar farm performance and address faulty patterns to minimize downtime
- Respond promptly to system faults and coordinate with technical support for timely resolution
- Liaise with monitoring platform companies and manage fault tickets to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team for issue resolution and performance enhancement
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve solar farm performance through data analysis and reporting
- Support system development by assisting in planning and evaluating solar energy system activities, with proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and CAD software for documentation
What you bring to the role:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Technical proficiency and understanding of control room systems and functions
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively
- Proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus
- Proven work experience as a Control Room Operator or similar role is a plus
