We are seeking a Contracts Officer to join our Contracting team in out Thessaloniki offices.
Your role will encompass:
- Draft and revise a variety of contracts with customers and suppliers
- Preparation of suppliers’ and subcontractors’ contracts
- Ensure that the contract documents are accurate and updated
- Draft and administer contract documents, including Main contracts with Subcontractors, Variation Orders and all relevant contractual notices
- Participating in evaluation and negotiation of claims in any issues with subcontractors
- Monitoring Insurance, Bonds and Warranties and monitor the issue/renewal of performance Guarantees /Advance payment Bonds in conjunction with relevant Department
- Coordinate negotiations with customers to discuss both legal and business matters
- Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to the contract’s terms and provisions
- Resolution of contractual and commercial problems
- Consulting the Commercial Manager on key areas
- Support to Project Management in contractual issues
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure a good collaboration
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law Or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with legal background
- Master degree from a recognised university will be considered as an asset
- Working language both Greek and English
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Working knowledge of construction and forms of Conditions of Contract
- Strong experience with both English and Greek law contracts
- Ability to operating in a highly technical and complex field
- Excellent communication, negotiations, organisation and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
