We are looking for a Compliance Officer, Sanctions & TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) Facilitator for METLEN Energy & Metals S.A., reporting to the Third-Party Risk Compliance Lead within the Compliance Division.

The role combines economic sanctions and third-party due diligence expertise with the hands-on coordination of METLEN’s Third-Party Risk Management framework.

Your role will encompass:

  • Support the day-to-day operation of METLEN’s Third-Party Risk Management framework and facilitate the end-to-end TPRM lifecycle.

  • Investigate sanction-screening alerts, adverse-media findings and ongoing-monitoring red flags, distinguish false positives from material concerns, document the assessment and escalate significant cases with clear recommendations.
  • Prepare TPRM and sanctions-related reports, dashboards, management information and compliance metrics.
  • Provide guidance, consultation and training to Compliance Liaisons, business teams and TPRM platform users.
  • Support the Third-Party Risk Compliance Lead in drafting and updating policies and procedures, performing compliance risk assessments, designing and improving processes, developing employee training and preparing compliance communications.
  • Contribute to broader Compliance Function projects, internal reviews and audit or regulatory requests, as required.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Relations or another relevant field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Compliance, economic sanctions, KYC/AML, third-party due diligence or Third-Party Risk Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of EU, UN, UK and US sanctions frameworks and the principles governing ownership, control and sectoral restrictions. Professional certification in sanctions, AML, compliance or risk management would be an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of KYC, beneficial ownership analysis, PEP and sanctions screening, adverse-media research and risk-based due diligence.
  • Understanding of the TPRM lifecycle, including onboarding, inherent-risk assessment, module-based due diligence, approval, remediation, ongoing monitoring and reassessment.
