About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Supervisor to join our team Australia.
Location: Office based role (Brisbane), with travel to solar farm sites as required (Australia and New Zealand)
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be a valuable member of the team responsible for assisting the Commissioning team with start-up, testing and commissioning activities for Metlen’s Renewable Energy Projects. As a Commissioning Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist Commissioning Manager on activities relating to HV Pre commissioning, HV Energisation and R2 on renewable energy projects.
- Assist the Commissioning Manager with the scoping, resource management, scheduling and resolution and escalation of issues relating to all Commissioning activities.
- Review, preparation, and delivery of commissioning documentation for renewable energy projects as required.
- Provide engineering / technical advice to project stakeholders as required.
- Undertake and assist Hold Point testing as required.
- Manage Engineering/Consultants regarding timing of submission of deliverables for all assigned projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree qualifications in Electrical Certificate 3
- Extensive experience in Commissioning and start up Large Scale Renewable Energy Projects (Solar, Wind and/or Battery Storage)
- Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence (QLD mandatory with other states desirable)
- HV Switching National Accreditation (desirable) or has the ability to obtain (if required)
