We are seeking a motivated Grid Connection Engineer to join our Energy team part of our MRES-ET Division, based in Bucharest.
Your Role will encompass:

Manage grid connection projects for PV, battery storage, wind, and other renewable energy assets, ensuring delivery within scope, cost, and timeline

Act as the focal point for technical, commercial, regulatory, and grid compliance matters related to transmission and distribution networks

Provide technical support during project development, considering all grid connection requirements and impacts

Conduct technical due diligence and risk assessments on grid connection agreements with Italian TSOs and DNOs

Manage Technical Advisors and Consultants supporting grid and project delivery activities across Romania

Develop and maintain relationships with Romanian TSOs and DNOs to support grid application and delivery processes

Manage grid application submissions and ensure compliance with Romanian TSO, DNO, and national regulatory requirements

Monitor application progress and coordinate timely resolution of technical or regulatory issues to avoid project delays
What you bring to the role:

University Degree in Electrical Power Systems and/or Electrical Engineering

5+ years involvement in medium to large-scale (10-50 MW) interconnections of power generation projects

Participation in and leading interconnection processes in Romania

Strong ties to key industry players

Knowledge of market-standard construction and equipment costs

Excellent use of English Language

Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite

Candidates with additional qualification in renewable energy (especially RES) would be advantageous
