About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Scheduler to join our team.

Location: TBC, Australia

Contract Type: Full time, Permeant

Reporting to the Project Director, Oceania Region you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling integrated project schedules for large‑scale renewable energy projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop, maintain, and control fully integrated, resource‑ and cost‑loaded project schedules across the full EPC lifecycle (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close‑out).
  • Establish and maintain baseline schedules, including critical path analysis and schedule logic.
  • Ensure schedules align with contractual milestones, procurement lead times, construction methodologies, and commissioning strategies.
  • Integrate contractor, subcontractor, and supplier schedules into a consolidated master program.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor schedule performance using key planning metrics, including critical path, float analysis, SPI, and schedule variance.
  • Prepare regular schedule updates, progress reports, dashboards, and executive‑level summaries.
  • Identify schedule risks, opportunities, and constraints, and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Support earned value analysis and schedule‑driven forecasting.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Procurement, HSE, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between schedule, scope, and execution plans.
  • Facilitate schedule review workshops, look‑ahead planning sessions, and “what‑if” scenario analysis.
  • Support claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) submissions with robust schedule evidence where required.

Governance, Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and maintain planning standards, WBS structures, and scheduling best practices across projects.
  • Ensure schedules comply with internal governance frameworks and client requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior schedulers or planners where applicable.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement of project controls processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be/have:

  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in project scheduling/planning on large‑scale infrastructure, energy, or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong experience with utility‑scale solar farm or renewable EPC projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex, multi‑disciplinary project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of EPC sequencing, construction methodologies, procurement lead times, and commissioning activities.
  • Experience supporting contractual claims, EOTs, and delay analysis.
  • High level of analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
