We are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team of the Metallurgy Sector, at the Aluminium of Greece plant in Agios Nikolaos, at the Distomo Beach area in Viotia.
Your role will encompass:
- Manage and execute accounting activities such as: issuing sales invoices, recording sales invoices, and reconciling revenues and customer balances.
- Monitor collections of receivables, post collection entries, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and present accounting reports, as required.
- Support the Financial Controller and the Senior Accountant in the preparation and monitoring of expense accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to expenses.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (University or Technological Institute) in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Very good command of English.
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office); knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
