We are currently seeking a Site Engineer (Civil or Mechanical) to join our Power Technologies Department (Thermal Power & HVDC), supporting the delivery of the CCGT Adamów power plant based in Turek, Poland.
Your role will include:
- Manage and oversee mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to effectively plan and execute mechanical installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that may arise during construction, implementing prompt solutions to prevent project delays.
- Collaborate with the design team during the pre-construction phase to provide input on mechanical systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all mechanical work performed on-site.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety among all personnel involved in mechanical construction activities.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (MSc considered an advantage)
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical erection works or maintenance, preferably within heavy industrial environment, power plant, refineries, HVDC or renewable, HVAC or generally energy projects
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and civil construction drawings and procedures or specifications
- Fluency in English.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural project teams
